Sharedbans ist ein neues Anti-Cheat Tool für alle Source-Server und soll vor Wallhacks, Aimbots und Radar-Hacks schützen. Zudem kann das Tool auf eine weltweite Banliste zurückgreifen die mit der Liste von Steambans zusammen arbeitet. Es werden die sourcebasierenden Spiele ´Counter-Strike: Source´, ´Day of Defeat: Source´ und ´Half-Life²: Deathmatch´ unterstützt.

Hoffen wir, das es mal endlich ein wirklich aktives und auch funktionierendes Anti-Cheat Tool für die Sourcegames gibt.

Gut zu wissen, dass es auf die Daten von SteamBans zurueckgreift. Aber Detail zu den technischen Details und ueberhaupt mehr Informationen, gibt es leider nicht. Naja, abwarten. Generell wohl eine erfreuliche Sache.

Habs auch grad in genau dem Moment gelesen, asl du das geschrieben hast. Spiele zwar selten CS:S, aber ich hoofe, dass es hält, was es verspricht. Hoffentlich gibt es bald nähere Informationen.

Es tut sich langsam etwas - es gibt inzwischen eine Website. Wollte mal in die Serverliste schauen und daddeln, abe da ist noch irgendwas im Sack.
Wenn ich das richtig gesehen habe, wird wohl doch nicht die Datenbank von SteamBans benutzt.
Naja, abwarten.

Ist der Bestandteil eines Aprilscherzes von 2006, also vor wenigen Tagen...

Auf der Website werden jetzt unter Protected server List die damit ausgestatteten Server angezeigt. Bisher nur die von Gameconnect (sharedbans gehoert dazu).

Die Geschichte mit den auf steambans basierenden Daten kam ja leider nicht zustande.
